Tim McGhee is the former head of sponsorships for AT&T.

Tim has 20 years of sports consulting and corporate experience, most recently supporting senior leadership across multiple industries in high-level negotiation and sponsorship activation. As AT&T’s executive director of global sponsorships, he oversaw the activation of a sponsorship portfolio consisting of over 80 local and national properties. These included primary sponsorship of Richard Childress Racing’s #31 car in NASCAR, NCAA, The Masters, the AT&T Williams F1 team, New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and naming rights agreements with AT&T Center and AT&T Park.

Prior to AT&T, Tim was senior vice president/managing director at IMG Consulting. In that role, he oversaw the agency’s North American client engagements, including Marriott Hotels, Coca-Cola, Kia Motors, Kraft Foods, USAA Insurance, and Visa. Previously, as a Group Account Director with IMG Consulting, he oversaw a number of client engagements, including Verizon Communications, the NCAA, and Tyco Industries, among others.
